Crane Operator

Job Description

D&O Crane is hiring a crane operator who can handle daily lifts with accuracy and a strong safety mindset. This role works directly with customers and ground crews to complete jobs across Northern Arizona. You will perform routine inspections, light maintenance, and operate lifting equipment in a professional, organized way. Hands-on experience with cranes and construction materials is important. Strong problem solving and attention to detail are expected.

Responsibilities

Daily crane operation on commercial, residential, and industrial job sites.
Inspect equipment and complete all required logs.
Review manuals and set up machinery correctly.
Coordinate with ground crews by following hand and verbal signals.
Follow all company and regulatory safety guidelines.
Complete tasks that may require on the job training.
Adapt to changing job conditions and maintain steady communication.

Requirements

Current NCCCO certification from an accredited provider.
Ability to read labels, safety notices, and operational guidelines.
Stay alert and focused to maintain safe site conditions.
Follow instructions and work well with crews in the field.
Operate cranes, trucks, and related equipment safely.
Previous crane operator or equipment operator experience.
Pass all medical and drug testing requirements.
Understanding of basic tool and equipment maintenance.
Valid Class A CDL.
Lift at least 25 pounds when needed.
